Movie in the Graveyard: movie-in-the-graveyard Come out for a free, Halloween-themed family-friendly movie in the "graveyard" on Saturday, October 28, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at the Beltsville Community Center. Haunted characters and costumes are encouraged! Bring your chairs, blankets, and snacks. Registration is required (one ticket per person), click here, flier.
Updated Vaccines: Covid-19, Flu, RSV: Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that everyone six months and older should get the updated Covid-19 vaccine this fall. Flu shots are also recommended, along with the Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine for infants and adults 60 and older. Learn more at https://www.vaccines.gov/ Beltsville Secure Shredding Day: Council District 1 has scheduled a free Beltsville Community Secure Shredding Day at Beltsville Academy for Saturday, October 28, from 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM (or until the shredding truck is full). Oct 28 Shredding Day Beltsville Fire Fest: Join the Beltsville Volunteer Fire Department #31 for the 2023 Halloween Fire Fest! Enjoy free food, vendors, and trick-or-treating. This event will take place at 4911 Prince George's Avenue in Beltsville on Saturday, October 28, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. PGPD Division VI Faith & Blue: The Police Division VI Citizens’ Advisory Council (CAC) meets on the 4th Thursday of the month (except Jul, Aug, Nov, Dec) at 7 PM at the Calverton Satellite Office at 11613 Beltsville Drive. A Zoom option is available. Scrap Tire Drop-Off Day: Get rid of your old scrap tires on Saturday, October 7th, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Public Works Salt Dome at 11900 Montgomery Road in Beltsville.
National Coffee with a Cop Day: Join Prince George's County Division VI police for National Coffee with a Cop Day on Wednesday, October 4, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McDonald's, 13210 Laurel Bowie Road in Laurel.
PGPD Division VI Faith & Blue: Community Expo and Ice Cream Social where attendees and participants alike can meet and greet, establish lasting community relationships, and explore the many services and benefits available to the Division VI community at large. This event will be held on Friday, October 6, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at the MCJ El Rey Church outdoor area at 6011 Ammendale Road in Beltsville. Participants will discuss the community, crime statistics, community relations, and development.
